PhD Scholarship in Tissue Repair
Faculty of Health Sciences

 

Applications are invited for the following scholarship leading to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.

 

Field of Study: Wound healing and tissue repair: to further understand the mechanisms involved in the wound repair process particularly in relation to children with fragile skin

 

Eligibility: Applicants must be Australian Citizens or permanent residents of Australia who are acceptable as candidates for a PhD degree at the University of Adelaide and intend to enrol full time commencing in 2012.

 

Stipend: The scholarship will be for the period 2012 - 2014 and has a stipend of $23,728 per annum (in 2012) indexed annually. It is likely to be tax exempt, subject to Taxation Office approval.

WCHRI Honours Scholarship

This scholarship is to support students with excellent undergraduate records who complete their Honours training at WCHRI. Students can be enrolled through any of the South Australian Universities.

Stipend will be $2000.

Deadline for application is the end of October each year.

Scholarship Top-Ups for Postgraduate Research

This scholarship is to support outstanding students who have been awarded a full scholarship for their PhD. Only one Top-up Scholarship will be awarded per year. Submission details and selection criteria available on request.

 

The Top-up will be $5000 per annum and is available if the PhD is undertaken at WCHRI.
